Qualifications You Have To Meet
To be accepted into the Education program you have to meet many requirements. First, you have to pass the Technology Competency Assessment. Then you have to take the Basic Skills Test. Next you need to take a FBI & State Background Information check, which involves getting finger printed. Then after all this is finished you have to maintain a 2.75 GPA to apply and hopefully be accepted into the Teachers Program.

What Grade Are You Going To Teach?
Next you should determine what grade you want to teach. The best way to determine this would be by observing in the classroom, a day care center, or after school tutoring program. The more time you spend with different age groups, the better you will know what age group you will like to teach. There are many sites on the internet also that you can research and get teachers feedback on how and why they chose the grade they did and why they like the grade they teach.
What School Would Best Fit You?
The first step after you decide that you want to become a teacher is finding the right academic place that fits your goals and interests best. To make sure that their mission is what you want to describe and represent you as a teacher. Here are some other great questions you might want to ask to get a better understanding of that school and it's right for you:
Is a Education degree offered at this school?
What are the costs of tuition and housing?
What kind of financial aid is available?
What is the average class size?
What is the school's ranking (compared to other institutions)?
Are there any extracurricular activities or clubs available?
What is the graduation rate?
How successful are graduates in finding employment?
